Product characteristics

ALTAPON DS 30% is an aqueous solution of sodium alkyl sulfate. Alkyl chain is specific with predominantly 10 and 12 carbons (sulfuric acid, mono-C10-14-alkyl esters, sodium salts).

 Use

ALTAPON DS 30% is used as a component for the production of liquid detergents, especially washing and cleaning preparations. When completely dry, it leaves dry, non-viscous remain that destines ALTAPON DS 30% for product formulations - type “dry foam”.

ALTAPON DS 30 % is also used for following:

-refining vegetable oils

- separating of fatty acids in wet processes

- emulsification in polymerization processes

Product features

ALTAPON DS 30 % is colourless up to yellowish liquid of an anionic feature. It is stable in moderately acid even alkali environment. It features higher foaming quality and very good wetting ability. In temperatures lower than + 15 oC solid proportion may separate and when heated up to + 20 oC and after consequent thorough homogenization it also dissolves and the preparation may be used repeatedly without any change of application characteristics.

Product manufacturing

ALTAPON DS 30 % is being dissolved in parallel with stirring by adding haphazard quantity of cold or warm water creating pure solutions. In formulations of washing and cleaning preparations features both high foaming quality, wetting power, dry rest and good biodegradability.

Packing and storage

ALTAPON DS 30 % is delivered in PE cans at the volume of 50 litres or in other containers that have been discussed in advance. It is stored in closed containers at the places protected from direct weather influences. Recommended store temperature moves from +5 to +25 oC. When the store temperature drops below 0 oC, no negative effects on the application characteristics are evident. When heated up and, alternatively, homogenized the product is applicable without any limitation.

Transport

ALTAPON DS 30 % is delivered in covered vehicles and is not subject to the ADR/RID regulations. Transport in tank cars is also possible to realize.

Warranty

If the product is transported and stored according to the above mentioned conditions, the warranty is 6 months from the date of stock-out.
