ALSON NA is an aqueous solution of sodium salt of dodecylbenzensulphonic acid.
Applications
ALSON NA is a raw material for production of washing and cleaning agents both in a liquid or paste-like form. In industries, the product is used as a cleaning and washing agent stable in acid and slightly alkaline environment.
Product Features
ALSON NA is yellow liquid of an anionic character. The agent is stable in moderately acidic and slightly alkaline environment. Temperatures lower than +10 °C can lead to separation of its solid fraction. Once this fraction is tempered at +40 °C and thoroughly homogenized, it dissolves again and the agent can be used with unaltered application properties.

Directions for Use
From the most widespread applications of ALSON NA, mainly the following can be recommended:
1. Textile Industry
In single technological processes, ALSON NA can be used alone or with other additives for washing and pre-washing all types of fabrics. For 1 litre of bath use from 1 to 3 g of the agent. Washing is recommended at or above 60 °C. To wash heavily soiled material, use pressureless boil wash in alkaline environment with use of 1 % of the agent by the weight of the washed material with addition of lye. The agent in concentration of 0.5 to 2.0 g per 1 litre of bath is also used for washing and soaping goods coloured by practically any kind of colourant.
2. Manufacturing of Communal Detergents
Sodium alkylbenzensulphonate is a component of practically any washing and cleaning agent for households and industry. ALSON NA can be used in accordance with the following guiding formulations.

3. Civil Engineering
Adding ALSON NA to mixing water has proven good when producing foamed concrete and other insulating materials produced by wet method with use of cement. Generally, the typical dosage of the agent lies between 0.2 to 1.0 % by the mass of used cement.
4. Other Industries
Cleaning and wetting solid surfaces and removing impurities in glass blowing, ceramic industry, engineering, food processing industry and transport. The following recipe for removing preservation wax can be considered as a typical example:

Packaging & Storage
ALSON NA is delivered in 200 l PE barrels or 50 l PE tanks. Alternatively, it can be delivered in different containers that were discussed and agreed on in advance. Store it in a sealed container in places protected from direct climatic influences. Recommended storage temperature is between +5 to +30 °C. Must not be stored in the sun or near heat sources. Storing at temperatures below 0 °C does not affect product's application properties. In such cases, it is strongly recommended to temper the agent at 25 °C followed by homogenization before its use.
Transport
ALSON NA is transported by covered vehicles. It is not subject to ARD/RID Regulations.
Warranty
Provided the product is transported and stored in accordance with the above written conditions, its warranty is 6 months from the production date.
